Magnets are not strong enough to keep lenses from sliding down whiteboard

The kit itself is massive. Lots of lenses: positive, negative, one for teaching about total internal reflection, etc. The problem is they weigh too much to attach to our teaching lab's classroom whiteboard. We still have optical tables that we can use for a horizontal surface, but ordered them so that we could do the demonstrations in the vertical direction in front of a classroom of students. :( We will still get use out of them, but for the price it would have been nice to use our existing whiteboard.

Hi Jennifer, thank you for your feedback! Indeed, the lenses are quite heavy but I'm very surprised they didn't work on your white board. We've tested them on at least 5 different white boards, including some very thin and cheap ones from Target that we use at trade shows (shown in the photos on the page). In all cases they've stuck plenty well to hold their place. We can certainly accept a return if they are not working for you. If you have other whiteboard options (including portable ones) I would definitely encourage you to try those as well.
